2005 SXT

Post by shaw0050 » Fri Mar 16, 2012 12:06 am

Bought my Neon in August, 2011. Since then I've worked on repairing/restoring, and upgrading. I'm in the Greenville, SC area, but I'll be moving to Tampa, FL this summer.

Thanks, too bad that picture was taken to strategically hide the body damage of the previous owner. :/

something is up (maybe its the damage) but the rear of your car looks lowered and the front is stock ride height. whats up with that?

oh and welcome!

Very observant. :D

Unbeknownst to me when I bought it, the car had been lowered with aftermarket springs.. in the rear only. In combination with the large rims and low ride, the mufflers would hit the ground on bumps. So I have since raised the back at least an 1" since that pic, but it still isn't quite stock height (which is where I think I want it).

More images that I have. Nothing special, just shows the engine and some of the damage. (There are quite a few more dents and scratches. I wish I knew how to repair it myself.) According to the previous owner, he hit a stop sign.
