03 bumper issues

I have an 01 Im converting to 03 I have everythin needed I'm just curious why the center section near the grille is so different? The sides match but how to mount the middle on top?

Doesnt it have the black honeycomb grille? If so that screws into the core support. If not, you need it... or it just wont be attached in the center

It has the grille but it doesn't reach the core but everything else lines up

Did you take out the styrofoam thing that is under the bumper you might have two under the bumper(the old one from the old bumper and the new one).
