I have been an nSRT4 owner since 04. Got my EBlue with 1 mile on her and loved the car. Babied it and enjoyed it from day one. Modded it like crazy as some of you remember. I appreciate all the support over the last 7-8 years and feel happy it was recognized as an SRT of the Month (srtforums). I have so much respect for these cars. Stage 3 was no joke.
I got to the point where I was done with the car and it was time to move on. I sort of was back and forth for about a year until I finally decided to sell. Luckily it sold for what I asked within two weeks of listing last August. I lived on w/ my PT GT Cruiser (for those who don't know, it has the 2.4 Turbo). Great daily but sucks on gas.
A few weeks ago I started getting the itch to move on to something new. I was always interested in the SRT-6, but figuring I would sell the DD, I wasn't sure I wanted a small 2 seater. Decided to look into getting something luxurious with a nice ride, roomy, and relatively quick. SRT-8 300 and CTS-V were my first choices as they are ~20-24k but also thought about the 135i/335i, new Genesis Coupe, E55, or possibly 5.0 stang (if I wasnted to disregard luxury).
Finally came across a fully loaded SRT-8 300 f/s nearby from an orig owner with 26k miles. All TSB's done and every document kept. Car was in immaculate shape with just one ding. Zaino'd and was garage kept. Showroom quality. Pulled the trigger and in the last 2 weeks have loved it. The car is a totally different animal than the SRT-4.
Attached are some pics of my old Neon, my PTGT daily, my new SRT-8, and my sis's BF's csrt. Thanks again for the love over the years. Time to join 300c and LX forums. Those in North Jersey may still see my SRT-4. Kid bought it in Teaneck and goes to the Edgewater meets. Unfortunately, he beats on it from what I hear and it's not in the same shape as most remember... owell -Bill
