This is the kind of thing that happens around here that made me stop my training with the same police force. I hope this lady does what ever she has to, to not only get the chief of police fired but Adam smith as well.

Just figured I'd share this, it irked me so bad I'll be going to the village meeting to hear what happens. [/u]

Whacked with a baton? an 8 year old? doesn't this fall under child abuse? Any cop should know you don't hit an 8 year old with a baton, let alone handcuff and "stuff" him in the back of the car. Knowing he was autistic or not police shouldn't treat a child like that. I hope he gets fired and, if he has a family, investigate him for child abuse. If he had the mind to use a baton against an 8 year old then who knows what he finds ok with his own family. this kid wasn't a criminal by any means. Fucking pigs

How could you not know? Autistic people are usually fairly obvious.

Either way,just let the kid wear himself down. The school should have, or possibly did, let the dispatcher know he was a special needs child.

thanks for the fix OD. This is a pretty sore subject around town, a few years ago a similar event happened with another officer (he is still on the force) and nothing more than a slap on the wrist was given.
I'm not usually one to bitch about police or make any snide remarks, however in this situation its hard not to.

I can't believe this has happened Mike. I remember that other incident as well. But then again, we have quite a few dirty cops around here. by no means should a officer "whack" a child with the baton.

It's almost uncountable the amount of times I have heard of the "SIU" getting involved in a Case that had something to do with a pig acting in a way that he/she shouldn't.....and wouldn't you know it, I have yet to see the SIU actually find one of these Pigs to be at fault.

Say hello to thee largest Gang in the world......the Police.

But don't fret, there is NO County,Province,Town,City,State in the world that has more Police than Civilians....keep this in mind when the time comes!

Uggh, this shit just drives me up the wall, I better stop before I turn this post into a novel....

I hope all the best for this poor kid, it's beyond wrong what has happened.
And I hope the inbred that assaulted him get his Karma 50 fold....

From what ive learned, cops are above the law. Say if you got caught speeding 65 in 55, ticket......cops does 70+ in a 55, its alright. They just need to get some where just as important. Dont get me wrong, they're good cops out there...no doubt. When we have problems, who do we call? cops. Saying this kinda sticks up for them, but then again....why are they hiring power hungry douche bags?

Go on a few ride alongs. Things will make more sense. More often than not, if they are moving at all, they are on their way to a call. If not, they are probably following someone. In either situation, they are justified in driving more aggressively if necessary.

Cops need to remember what there job is. Protect us....not hunt us down one by one to pay more money. Why cant we train cops to hunt criminals like.....rapist, theives, murders? Why are we training / funding cops to hunt people in the woods who make moon shine?

I dont vote. I dont think the president calls the shot, hes just a puppet to amuse us, while the greedy rich men pay him in - easy. But i dont want to get this into a big debate. Thats my opinion, i know it may sound dumb, but take it as is, as i will take yours.
