mine for example:

lowering springs (new): $206 shipped to my door

tokico blue struts (new): $402 shipped to my door

Shorty rear endlinks (new, from modern): $20ish

Labour: 4 hours + mcdonalds lunch for my buddy

a local reputable shop wanted to charge $360 for all four sides, and a sketchy shop offered to do it for $160.

I'd say try it yourself.. look up a how to, watch a youtube clip, grab a friend or two and enjoy!

EDIT: forgot to add that you'll obviously need an alignment after you swap the springs and/or struts. Average cost around my area is roughly $100+

You'll also have some camber to adjust, so you'll need camber bolts ($20 per set from modern I think) or slot the holes to adjust

also, I know everyone's always saying it anyways.. but go with coilovers!

After I finished my set up I loved it, but now (less than a year) I really wish i had just saved up the couple extra hundred dollars and gone with BC's.

I'd say about $240 would be the average for labor, but I'm sure a local member would do it much cheaper.

Totally depends on where you live and what labor costs there. Also depends if you go with a quality shop or a backyard special. I'd expect around 3-4hrs labor. Here in CA the going rate is $100/hr or more, the math is pretty simple.

Springs can be bought used for $100-200 usually, maybe up to $350 new. If you have an ACR you already have Tokico Illuminas so no need to change struts for a light drop. You will indeed want to have it aligned afterward as stated above.
