- my door lock on the drivers side front wasn't locking or unlocking with the push of the electronic switch. So I took it out and assembled it. Put it back together and tried it and it worked!
It was missing a bolt so I put one in..
I put it back in the door and all. And it locked and unlocked. Great!!!!!
Then I tried to open it....from the inside...nothing...won't open. Tried from the outside nothing.... Tried the key and still nothing... So now my drivers side door is permantly stuck shut in lock position ...
How do you fix this????
PS..... I GOT PISSED AND WELL... HAX SAW PLUS HAMMER PLUS DRILL. =S LOCKING MECHANISM IN PIECES BUT STILL IN DOOR WITH DOOR SHUT.
(4-4-12, I now know I'm no mechanic)

ummm do you remember all of the little rods that were connected by little plastic pieces? i bet those are some of the pieces. are these what some of the pieces look like?
EDIT
EDIT
good rule of thumb is if you have to use a hammer youre doing it wrong and you should stop and google how to...(obviously somethings on cars really do require the use of a good hammer but stuff in the doors don't)thisdieingdream1 wrote:
