Make a right turn the engine cuts off??

Hi, my friend has a car that is giving him a problem. He says whenever he makes a right turn (maybe left too) his engine totally stops. I asked him about his key and his alternator. He said the "mechanic" advised him the alternator was ok. I think it may be something in the ignition switch maybe? Well his car is an 2004 Solara. I think these are similar to the Sebrings. Anyone ever heard of this kind of thing?

What did they say about the key? maybe it falls out when going around a turn.

How fast of a turn? Does it lose all power? I'd check for loose wires around the alternator, fuel pump/injectors, ignition, and ecu.

Solara is Toyota. Other than looks maybe, there is nothing else in common.
