Quick question...

ok, first off... I couldn't find the info that I was looking for on the matter so I decided to make a thread...

The guage cluster in my car is the basic, non-tach cluster.

I want the one WITH the tach... Crazy thing is, I bought one before and the mileage was not only off but so was the gas. (I figured the mileage would be and I had no problem with it (especially since it was under 100K

My question is: Was the gas needle off because my car isn't supposed to HAVE the cluster? Or was it just off because the cluster was a P.O.S.? lol. I'm thinking of going to grab another one when I get off of work in 30 mins since it's only $14 but I don't wanna if it's not gonna work. Thanks in advance!

Probably just a bad cluster if your current gas gauge works fine.

Deffinitely a bad cluster if the needle didnt work with the new one.

You shouldn't have an issue with the brake light like the R/T and SRT clusters then.

I just put it in... So far everything is ok. except for this one red circle to the right of the seat belt indicator light. Whats that?

Its for the skim. Ur car must b non skim, therefore the light will stay on. No big deal. Ive had mine like that for years lol

I did lol. I couldn't handle it. There's been no light on since I've had that car. Well, with the exception of the Check Engine light which was a result of me accidentally unplugging the MAP sensor when I put in a new radiator and when I seafoamed my engine... but I used the OBD-II @ my job to clear it lol. Thanks tho guys. I already like this place lol. Now off to sleep for an hour before working a 17hr day/night
