i need to replace my belt tentioner and timing belt. looked on ebay and am not sure what i'm looking for, so if any body could post a picture and any advice on cheapest way. thank you.

Check Rock Auto. You can get a timing component kit by Gates that includes a timing belt, mechanical tensioner and a water pump for $108. part number for the kit is TCKWP245A.

wow...that's a good deal. However, I feel like a COMPLETE noob. How will I put that (mechanical tensioner) on the car??!! lol. Does it bolt up where the hydraulic one does? (Excuse the fact that it's probably a dumb question lol)
