To the guy in the R/T....nice car. Was super cool cruising with you. Had the cop known what we were doing about 10 miles back, we both would have probably been arrested. Nuff said.

Yup, I've found over time that if you plead not guilty, you have a slimmer chance of them being nice than if you just plead no contest/guilty.Paul56 wrote:Pay it, plead guilty and adjust future behavior to avoid this.
Completely agree, plead guilty. I did and my fine for driving without a license went from around 400 to 125. Sometimes the courts will suprise you with something good.chipdogg wrote:Yup, I've found over time that if you plead not guilty, you have a slimmer chance of them being nice than if you just plead no contest/guilty.Paul56 wrote:Pay it, plead guilty and adjust future behavior to avoid this.
I've had a few tickets dropped/reduced after pleading no contest and none by pleading not guilty. Well except the one driving with revoked registration crap, that one got dropped when I met with the assistant DA and showed him I had paid the parking ticket that caused my registration to be revoked 3 weeks before I got pulled over.
