Sunroof only opens with help..grinding/clicking noise..

I have to push hard to help my sunroof open..its making some grinding noise.. Whats the prob? How do I fix it?

could be the mechanic. it collects dirt.
be prepared for a long day to remove and clean it!

This is why I'm glad my sister opt'd out of the sunroof package when she bought Charlotte. They're nice to have but can cause way too many expensive problems later on down the road...which I've experienced with my other cars lol

Check your motor's 12V supply with a multi, it may be on its way out. Also, as Jenni suggested, clean the rails/tracks really good from dirt/debri and also your sunroof drains - they can get clogged up and cause all sorts of problems. G'luck OP
