Finally dropped with a lip kit!

Post by Johny » Mon May 14, 2012 10:57 am

Sorry, shes a little dirty from last night after putting on the springs and struts. Setup is Tokico Blues with Canuck motorsports springs, 1.75" drop. I'll get some better shots later in the day

Image
Need to go to my exhaust shop and have them realign the exhaust with the bumper, and maybe get a bigger tip to sit flush with it.. oh well cant really see it now thats it low though

I was afraid when I saw the pic that it would rub, but next picture proved me wrong, lol. That's a loooow drop, looks good. You have more pics of front lip? Debating on getting one.

Yeah its pretty low, I'm not use to this, feels so weird sitting down in it lmao. I would like the back to be a bit higher though, but its better than 4x4 stance. Here's a picture of the lip, I'll get you some more later on

The struts are blues, so I'm not really sure. I also had my old suspension, all my tools and jacks in the trunk when I took these pictures, maybe it dropped it more? :o

Well I have 5mm spacers all around (the largest spacers neons can handle without extended studs) And I don't rub. I don't know about 10mm or higher ones if they'll rub.

Wow those silver stones look amazing, and that drop is ridiculous for springs only.

Hows the ride with the new springs?

Thanks man, the stones need to be repainted, dont know if you can see but theres a few chip marks here and there :(

Ride is pretty decent, you def feel the road more than stock, but its not absolutely terrible. I took out all my stuff from the trunk, so now I can fit my finger inside. I like it so far :D

wow, that front sits low! I like it! most springs the rear sits like yours and the front still has a pretty big gap. my Megans are that way and the old Pro Kits were the same. I know of seen other Canadians on here with Canuck Motorsports springs. Are they good springs or are they like eBay equivalents? Looks good man! Gonna paint the front lip blaze red?

yeah man I actually really loved your silver 2nd gen, one of my favs. The springs, so far, seem pretty legit. Kevin was running them for a while, so he'd probably be the better person to ask
