amplified subwoofers in a Neon?

Post by supertrick_05 » Sat Jan 21, 2006 4:18 pm

Has anybody had any experiences with amplified subwoofers (Bazooka, Infinity, Kenwood, etc.)? If so, were they good or not so good? I don't want a pounding bass in my car...I just want some nice filling bass. Granted my stock system is quite good, I'm wanting a little more "full" sound. Not sure if I want to replace the speakers, but I definately want a sub.

If you want a fuller sound id think ud wanna up the power or get new in cabin speakers. Subwoofers shouldnt be putting out anything more than low end, maybe try a smaller 4 channel amp for the rear 6x9's and the door speakers, and either use crossovers or "bass block" capacitor thingys to cut out low and the very high ranges.
