Two more happened this week (and apparently a couple others I missed)
NJ - guy cuts his intestines out, throws them at police
MD (30 min from me) kid disembowels a guy, cuts his body into pieces and keeps it on his house, eats the dudes brains and heart.

ETA: I read a creepypasta about a Russian experiment with a drug that wouldn't let people sleep, and the people ended up going crazy, cannibalistic, and had super strength and couldn't be subdued.. uhhh.. sound familiar?
