I replaced my bushings with boogers and all it did was make the grinding more prominent / consistent. Your trans is bad.

lack of bushings can cause it to grind. Also, you can try to bleed the slave, adjust the clutch pedal stop , or even the crossover. Ive had luck with all of those.

Can't say I had a problem with grinding gears when my bushings were missing. Hitting the wrong gear, yeah that would happen...

Play around with the clutch pedal height, if nothing else, pull the pedal all the way out so it pushes the PP fingers in more. Clutch pedal height was the biggest factor with the original clutch.

I have the pedal all the way out with the Spec Clutch, and it could use a bit more. It doesn't help the oem master cylinder linkage bends each time.

I stand by what I said, as I was missing one bushing entirely before I replaced them.

Your trans. Is bad.

He told you so!

j/K

Try shifting without the clutch. Just shift from 1st to 2nd as the RPMs drop. Don't push too fast or to slow, just gently shove it to 2nd. It will either go in decent, or it wont. It it shifts well, the trans/shift linkage/related is prolly good, and you have other issues with the clutch. I can shift through all the gears that way, but 3rd is the trickiest.

Yep. It's not serviceable unless you have specialized tools.

And unless you are really in love with it, it is cheaper to take your chances with another used one.

Same deal with my 04 r/t ground into 2nd unless granny driven. Swapped a different tranny in just about back together hopefully this one holds up the car it came outa had about the same km as mine and the car looked realatively well taken care of and it ran like a charm so it should hold up as long as I don't Blow any more shifts ( happened when I first got the car and was showing off with my friends lol red line first- slam to second- grrrrrrrrrrrrr - me ohhhh f@ckkkkk... Pretty embarrassing considering I grew up farming learned to drive standard when I was like 7 and drive the 10 speed grain truck lol)

Mine did this since the day I bought it. I was quoted waaaayy way more than the car was worth to yank it, crack it open, and swap in new internals. I bought a used trans with ~60k on it, drives like new. Only cost me $100 and a quick roadtrip / backyard swap.
