srt4 wing bolt broke off..fixable?

Found a srt4 wing for sale on craigslist but says it has a bolt broke off..is it reparable? He only wants $20 for it..

If you can get the broke off part out of the wing, you can install a new stud into it, providing you can obtain the correct stud. I believe they just thread into the wing. If the wing itself is tore up, you could try setting a bolt in there, and filling it with good epoxy, and letting it set up. Just be darn sure the bolt is in the right position...

Is the stud/bolt cracked in half still attached to the spoiler? Or is it broken out of the wing itself w/ nothing attached?

1 - drill hole in remaining section of bolt still in wing.

2 - use tap and die set to thread drill hole. be sure to thread hole with reverse threads.

3 - screw small bolt of matching thread into the new "screwhole."

4 - once tight, keep going this removes the broken bolt.

5 - Do celebration dance because you are smarter than the guy who didn't know to do this and sold you this wing for $20
