This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

You can try loosening the FP module, and rotate it in the tank. This is purely trial and error.

You could loosen it enough to turn it, but prolly going to have to pull it up and reseat it to get the gasket loose enough to let it turn. You will want to be sure all the crud is cleaned first.

Then key on, note gauge position, and turn it until the gauge is at it's lowest position. For the love of god, don't short any wires out.

You could pull the FP relay, tho it should shut off after a second when keyed on. Better to be safe, then you only have the gauge wire that is energized.

Other than that, there is not much you can do, except replace the sender, and hope it reads closer to the tank level. Kind of a risky investment.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.
