Just a little update..

Post by mopar04 » Sun Jun 03, 2012 5:58 pm

I have been looking for a while for some springs to put on my car (since my car needed new springs) and finally found some this week. Yes I know I need to repaint the calipers. Will come in due time. I took some before and after pics. Enjoy -

Thanks! So far I am loving it other than the occasional clunking noise coming from the 2 rear struts but after some searching, I found that it is most likely the top mounts needing to be filled. (Hopefully that is the case)

Anyways, to answer your question, I found some Megan Racing springs for a decent deal online. 2.0 in front and 1.9 Rear on stock struts as for now.

Thanks guys. Yeah I am expecting it to settle. My last neon I dropped 2.0 front and 2.5 in rear and after a few months or so it ended up being too low for my daily. Roads here, especially streets that tend to not be the main, are pretty bad. For some reason, the city can't seem to get the grading right whenever they pave new areas

Thanks everyone. Here are more picture from further away as requested by Jerry and also some more closer ones. The driver rear looks higher than the passenger rear but that is just because the driveway. The height of the rear is the height you see on the passenger side. Enjoy.

Looks pretty good...but beware of blown struts, because they are in your near future if you put them on stock struts.

Very nice clean drop. I am with Brodie on the stock struts with lowering springs.

Should of just waited and did it right the first time. Saves time and alignment money!
