lip kit to 2k MTX help please

I have done some looking around and found that there is work to be done if I want to make the 03-05 lip kit fit my 2000 MTx but there's not much mentioned of what exactly needs to be done.= that I can find. Does anyone know just what needs to be done? I can get the lip kit but I don't have access to lots of tools so I would only put them on my current bumpers if the work is not too involved since paying others to do the work usually ends in less than stellar results since they don't do the right research or just say screw it after a while. any info would be great.

Might just need a heat gun and some extra time.. Don't kno for sure but I don't think any cutting is required.

I saw some mention of that for the rear but i am really looking for specifics. could someone maybe make a HOW - TO on it?

well it looks like getting the mopar lip kit to fit my car is more expense than I can handle right now so I may just home depot it for now and lok into doing this later... as long as I can still get the kit.
