They've been stalking me for weeks. Finally one got me. Worst I've ever hit one, and from the looks of it were lucky to be alive. But, there goes my R/T :/ and the Carlisle sticker, which was on the now-shattered windshield. I got a shower and all but still picking glass out of my hair and face. General consensus is the insurance company is probably going to considered it totaled.

It was a buck, a young one though. His intestines are in the passenger seat.

Yep full coverage, I'll be fine in that sense. And not a SINGLE scratch/dent on the bumper or hood. It merrily JUMPED into my windshield, the s.o.b.

most important thing is we're okay. Unfortunate passenger had literal deer shit, from the stomach/intestines which exploded, in his mouth. When he was spitting it out, I was afraid it was some sort of car chemical. He was COVERED in it. The intestines WERE in his lap, he left them on the seat o_o

Glad that you are okay but sad that your Neon was murdered by a deer. Contact Carlisle Events- I'm sure that they will give you a replacement sticker at the gate for whatever you might be driving (you're still coming, right?).

I'll call them Monday :/. I want to still go but... the question is, will I have a car by then to go up? I didn't get a hotel room, I was just going to drive since I'm an hour away. My dad is going Friday for sure, but he leaves early, like 3pm.

First off, glad to hear you're unhurt. I've seen alot of deer accidents since I live in western Pa, but yours is by far the worst I've ever seen. Count your blessings...yikes.

Got away with a few scratches and without a mouth full of deer innards, and thanks! I know, from the looks of the windshield we should be hospitalized. Only been in 2 accidents in my life and in both the windshield was shattered, and I walked away fine.

I told my dad he ought to put it in the back of the truck, it was already gutted by my car :lol:! But he said it was sitting out too long, and there would probably be crushed bone mixed in with the meat and all..

Thankfully everyone is okay!! Well, everyone but the deer....but they don't count cause they're pieces of shit!!

Sucks about the car, but you just have to think things could've been worse! I hit a deer once, and the fucker only took off my driver side mirror and dented my fender...but of course I was the one freaking out running after my mirror down the road in traffic.....

I hope you still come to Carlisle!! Just come and party and talk shit about deer lol

Thanks guys. I sent 'im interested' internet.. notes, or whatever they are, to like 10 dealerships on some Neons tonight. I'd love to buy a Neon from a 2gn member, if not just to put money in the community's hands instead, but because there's a much better chance the car was well taken care of when owned by somebody here, and then I don't have to worry as much about how the car was treated. But, I won't have cash for a while I presume.. I'd have to loan it from a bank to hand over, etc etc.

And, if I buy the thing back from insurance, I'm definitely posting it up here to be parted out. Front end beyond the windshield was completely unscathed, so anything underneath the hood is in good shape (or, the same shape it was in before the accident

). Even the air filter is still clean by golly! Here's a picture I took of the damage from a farther angle to show that the stupid -cusswordstorm- deer just jumped right into the windshield:

And, as the deer didn't roll over the hood of my car (perhaps less damage if it had), everything on the tail end is in perfect shape, too. Spoiler, exhaust, all that. And of course the rims, can't forget about the rims.

ETA: And yes, that is deer crap on my purse. When I say it was blasted over the entire interior, I really mean it.

When I was out drinking last night, on the way home (my friend was driving, I don't drink and drive)

We saw a bunch of deer.. Atleast 15 deer spread out in a 10 mile drive.. Really weird.

Yeah, everybody better watch out, they're out to ruin Neons >:(. And thanks all, I really am just glad I walked away with a little scratch on my arm.. especially since the rearview mirror ended up in the back seat.

Also, if anyone has experience with insurance with a totaled car, please PM me. This would be my first totaled car that I have full coverage on (the other one I had liability and it's still just rotting in my yard, stupid Sunfire), and want to know what to expect from them as far as what they're probably going to try to give me as far as $ goes for the car.

KBB for my car at its current miles is pretty nice.. all values are more than what I even paid for it. I also read when I meet the adjuster I should bring examples of the same year, make, model with similar miles and what other dealers/people are asking for it. But I'm sure you all know it's not quite that easy to find an R/T o_o
