Yea, there's pretty much no way I would have purchased that car if I didn't live so far away from my job. The only redeeming quality of the car is the 42mpg on the highway. Otherwise I would have already tested the durability of the highway guardrails.
I really liked the MINI. But I drive waaaaaay too many miles to own a German/British car. I'd love to go back and get another MINI but When you buy used and drive 38,000+ miles annually, the Free Maintenance runs out pretty fast. The Cruze has a 100,000 mile warranty and it's American cheap. (All those creaks and rattles prove that)

Well yeah some of that would help too I suppose, haha. It's really not that bad tho. It's faster than my R/T swapped '04.. If you get one and think just because it's turbo you'll be as fast an SRT, STI, EVO, ect.. Of course you'll be let down. We all have our own opinions.. Just sayin it's a fun little car.Wenuden wrote:And by boost you mean displacement, right? Cause damn, 1.4L?

The local stealership is allowing customers schedule a "test drive" in a Rallye 1.4T 6 speed - I'm waiting for a TigerShark powered car to test driveMidnight_Rider wrote:Got to sit inside a Rallye Dart today at our state fair. Very nice and Neon-ish but I hate the fact that there is no CD slot in the dash. Yes, the car was red.

No surpises- I know that a CD player is optional and mounted vertically in the centre console. I swap discs a lot and having to open the console lid for new music will be a pain. Not enough to stop me from buying a Dart though.Canada wrote:It has a CD slot. I have just the opposite problem...Last look I had a bit over 150GB of music. I have to rotate the selection every so often to be able to hear itoccasional demons wrote:120 GBDanteneon wrote:16GB?

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
