RHD UK r/t HVAC Surround Mod

So as soon as I seen what the r/t HVAC surround looked like I knew I had to change it.
IMO it looked flipping stupid. So I wanted to do something unique.
I knew that I was going to "wrap" it, but I didn't know what design to go with.
I personally hate "fake" carbon fibre with a passion, so I started searching.
I loved the idea of "brushed" effects and I fell in love with the brushed black 1080 by 3m.
I had to import it from the states but it was worth it.
This was the first time ever I wrapped something, I am fairly satisfied with the results, I just messed it up slightly at the end when cutting the excess around the heating controls, enjoy:

I really love how well it matches my interior, I think it suits it perfectly.

i personally would've used a brushed silver instead of black, but still cool none the less. Actually looks like my laptop computer case

Its expensive but worth it.

Justin: Brushed Titanium and brushed Aluminium were available, however like I was saying I just wanted something that matched my interior and was unique (i.e not Matte black or CF). Silver would have just stuck out and that would defeat the purpose.

Nerox: No CF would not look better lol.

I was going to get a new HVAC panel and wrap it in the same 3M carbon fiber vinyl and see if I liked it. I have a shit-ton of it since I bought some on eBay awhile ago for a great price. The brushed looks pretty good though! I do like the black brushed look. It's got my vote!
