Srt axle back

So I can get a axle back for 30 bucks from a friend I wanna put it up on my.sxt ive been looking at sound clips with gutted cats its loud I knw the rt is a better flo re and quiter but its cheap only 30 so my ? Is will it souns like a gutted cat with my headers and high flow cat on or will it be even louder vid clips welcome thanks guys

Don't gut the cat. It will be so loud with the SRT rear section you will instantly regret it and you'll spend the rest of your time you own the car trying to fix it.

Im not gutting the cat thats all ive heard on youtube I have headers and a highflow cat

Oh, well, with the SRT rear section it'll be really loud still. I drove my SXT with an SRT rear on it for a while, but it was really really loud. You'll need a glasspack in the mid pipe to help it out some.

If you unbolt the muffler it'll sound a little similar, but maybe a little louder and bassier.

Well for awhile I had just my cai and cut the muffler and I liked it but then I.got my headers with tje dp no cat was way to loud so I got a cheap 20 exhuast from auto zone yo quite it down then got the high flow cat I.hate how my.exhuast looks I want duals so my buddy just hot borlas and said I could have stock

It will actually be louder with the SRT rear section than if you just had no muffler on the car. I'd get a camaro muffler if you want a dual setup like I had on my 05. I used a dynomax, lots of people had luck with magnaflow mufflers.

Two outlets emitting noise instead of one. Like said before, I blocked one side off when I had mine, to quiet it down.

I had a srt on my car for a while. its to the point where you have to yell to talk to ur passenger while cruising on the highway.. I'm on my second magnaflow muffler. I like them. Not too loud, prety deep sound. I only have a single exhaust outlet though. Dont do the srt dude unless u don't mind getting pulled over quite often
