dont know how many of you know about the high perforance shops who builds cars and whatnot that are in japan. but this kid jsut bought this 520awhp Subaru STI and hes only 16, what were his parents thinking.

i saw this a few months back, right after he got it...im suprised he doenst have pics up saying "well guys...i totaled the sti....now i have a SUPRA!!" (or something along those lines

i have the import tuner issue that had that top secret suby in it...i dont remember it saying the driver was 16...im gonna have to go read that article again....

he bought the car from the owner i think. personally if my parents gave me a choice of a car thats 60K [guessing on what it was sold for] i would have bought something like a m3 csl

haha be like this local kid that bought a totally hopped up integra type R....and we pointed to his chrome alternator and we were like damn nice turbo...he was like yea we just got it installed b/c it felt slow...lol it was so funny

i would go for the srt8 and drop like a progressive DP 100shot 2 subs 6 front compenets 2 amps fiber glass box and rear sucide front lambo and some nice 22"s...yumm!!

man if I could buy a Japanese tuner shops car, it would be the MCR Skyline or the W.E.S.T. Racing Corvette

I dont know...alot of people sell off those project cars as soon as they make their purpose of getting a magazine cover/feature....if he's got rich parents like he says he does, then im sure that was a small chunk of change to keep their kid 'happy'

lol right. them shits get stolen on a daily basis. i know this kid that got one and made it look s little as a type r as possible. mainly so it doesnt get stolen. he pretty much made it look like an ls minus the 5 lug and interior and stuff like that.

i took his quiz out of curiosity and there is a question that doesnt give the correct answer. its the question about the fastest stock car in the world, it still has the mclaren f1 when the veyron ran faster than 250 mph. (own me if im wrong.)

You guys obviously dont how parents buy their kids everything now adays...

I work at a school district... one kid at the high school has gone through TONS of cars. Dad bought him a brand new STI not long ago for his 17th (?) BD. Before that, he had a Mit. spyder with quite a few mods (I think he was running 13's, not sure). I know he had something before that that no teenager should own...

There are a few kids like this. One had a mid 90's corvette, etc.

I had a Nissan Pulsar NX. GREAT first timer car. Would have been dead by now if i had something that did 15's or faster!
