Exhaust gains on ulev...

Hey i know this seems like this was asked a million times b4 but i was wondering what the hp difference is between a ulev neon (2000 2" exhaust and extra cat) and a regular neon with the 2.25" exhaust and one cat... Does this mean that upgrading the exhaust will be quite a big improvement with a magnum header and all?

I believe all non-Mags are ULEV. Going to a full Mag exhaust will help, but I don't have an numbers for you.

well most non mags have 2.25" piping and one cat... i have 2" piping and 2 cats... sp i guess im asking if i will see a good gain because mine is the california make one...

You will be eliminating restriction and increase flow in theory. So in theory, yes. Generally speaking, cars that run a more free-flowing exhaust dyno higher. Hence the market for rice-cannons.
