Splicing O2 sensor wire...Quick!

Has anyone spliced O2 sensor wire to extend it?
I need to know if it works.

No reason it shouldnt as long as all wires are re-connected at the same ends. I used to re-wire my N64 controllers for an extra 20'+ with speaker wire ;)

Shouldnt have any problems!

I did it and it works fine. (I extended both of them by the header)
