I need to know how to take the black side molding off of my car. I am fed up with looking at it and it has got to go! Please tell me how to do it and what I need to use to do it. I am going car detailing tomorrow and I want them off when I do it! Please help me out!

i heard a blow dryer and some fingers/credit card works fine. if its old it might take more time and leave shitty lines under from paint fade and whatnot. good luck. theres a post somewhere about this but its under a diff topic, like debadging or something. hope that helps-

Ive heard to use fishing line...when i did mine, i just waited for a really hot summer day and sadly, used my nails and some fishing line
worked very well, and i was one of the lucky ones, no bubbles under any of my side moldings. just take your time and make sure to heat it up some, or do it on a hot day
