How many miles?
If over 100,000, get/do a compression check.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

Check your kickdown linkage from the throttle body (TB) to the transaxle. (ATX)
If the kickdown isn't moving properly, it can affect how well it runs when accelerating.
There are a billion other little things, like sensors getting flaky that can cause inconsistent performance.
Check all the ground points, that they are rust free and tight.
Possibly change the 02 sensors for the P0420 code. A flaky o2 sensor can also cause all your symptoms.
Mine was giving the P0420 but the compression is so bad, it doesn't idle right. It would only set the CEL when idling for more than a minute. Seems to have given up on telling me about it tho. after erasing the code multiple times...
Hasn't happened for a few months now.
