What she need to do is get a restraining order against her husband immediately. This gives her temporary custody of her kids and keeps him away from her.

If he's been constantly not paying child support (over 2 months), then OCSE will go after him.

She needs to contact a domestic violence shelter, as they can give her the resources she needs to eventually get the divorce and full custody of the kids. They may even have programs in place to help her find and pay for a lawyer.

I wish her luck. She sounds very strong.

I totally agree with what Jeff said. My sis went through the same type of crap with her ex and she did all that. Only thing she didn't do is ask for child support because she doesn't want her ex knowing where she lives now.

Thanks jeff i will recommend some of these things. I just have to be careful cause i dont want her to feel like I'm pushing her in a certain way

That I did. Seems like this woman made some piss poor decisions in her life. If it was to help you, then I would probably be down only if it was LEGIT. There has been others on this forum just trying to get a spare dollar because their 6 figure job isn't there anymore.

This is just some random woman with quite a bit of baggage. Sucks you have to be part of it bro. :/

Agreed - she has more left over at the end of the month than I do.... LOL.

Sucks the situation she is in....but she can overcome it.
