cat off a srt 4

Can u use a cat off a srt 4 and put on a 2000 neon 2.0? Iam about to buy one and do my exhaust. So any info well be great

yes it should bolt in but it wolnt attach directly to your midpipe but if your getting a full srt exhaust it should all bolt right in

Oh ok well i wanted the whole srt exhaust but it might be a lil to loud so iam going with a magnaflow muffler.

You can use the complete system to the rear section, and go with a rear section design of your choice.

FWIW:
You can attach any neon muffler without mods to the SRT midpipe, except the R/T muffler. You technically need an adapter bushing, because the R/T muffler has a larger pipe. This only applies to the OEM parts.

An aftermarket "R/T" muffler probably isn't the correct size.

Oh ok cool will iam buying the cat for $50 it got 10,000 mile on it and he got the axle part for 30 but i think i will go with a magnaflow

It might be slightly better, as far as flow. Depends on the inlet size. As big as the SE inlet looks with the flex coupling on the outside, the actual inside of the coupling is about 2" in diameter. IDK if the SRT is any larger or not.

So i put on my srt cat on my car today and it run so much better.. Pick up alot better and no more stupid cei and no more shaking.
