Installing new headhunit

Post by AnarchyBurger » Sun Jan 29, 2006 1:17 pm

So yesterday I tried to remove my old headunit so I could put a new one in, but while I was trying to remove that bezel that surrounds the A/C vents+controls and the headunit itself, the top part (where the A/C vents are) would not come off easily. I dont want to break something by forcing it off, so how am I supposed to take it off properly?

its a 2005 neon SXT by the way.

Don't forget the two phillips head screws at the top right behind the vents that you pull out. And be careful with the two tabs at the bottom.

Check this out -- http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=5531 - It should help!

Yeah the top has those two screws, just adjust ur vents so u can see the screws and loosen them thru the vents.
