Just now noticed my Traction Control Light

Post by Diablo0 » Fri Sep 17, 2004 3:39 pm

I know about the traction control light that is displayed when you turn it of... it says "No Trac"... but today I JUST NOW noticed that when traction control kicks on a off the word "Trac" blinks in the Odometer area next to where it says "Cruise"

I noticed it blink this morning coming to work when it was wet outside and was stopped in traffic on the interstate. I gunned enough to spin the tires and I noticed something blinking but didn't catch what it said. I did it again the next time we were stopped and finnaly saw what it was lol

I guess I would know this if I actually read the owners manual though

No trac control for me! It's for dummies, because even leadfooted mullets with a Camaros know that to end the burn-out, they have to take their foot off the gas.

Yeah... to much work for me... I really don't find it that annoying b/c I usually just leave it on, but if I wanna have some fun I'll turn it off.

i found out about the flash near the odometer last winter when some kids ran in front of my car, leaving me stranded on a 10 foot long speed bump with RSA's spinning on ice/snow. :pissed:

nobody likes it eh...guess I am a nobody then eh...i like it...i leave it on...it sure has helped me out in the snow in the past...so...thats me...

I do laugh at how much work people put into turning it off...unless your doing some crazy driving then it shouldnt be coming on anyway....I just do what DIABLO does..and turn it off if i wanna play...no bigger...no sense messing with it....
