yeah ill pass on this for so many reasons. saftey being #1 and #2 the weight additions just make this car useless.
Granted is all because of cheap batteries but seriously a 2 ton electric car vs. stock being a little over 1 ton.

What a thing to do to an ACR...

Pretty sad, considering some years ago, there was a guy that converted a Honda, Civic, IIRC.

He used a better motor, don't recall the batteries. Not sure what the HP rating was either. But it had 450ft/lbs of torque from 0 rpm to w/e the max rpm was.

The thing would roast the tires for a while. I don't think it had much range tho.

I know, at least he could have done the 450 ft lb electric motor. Sheesh.

I seen a show on electric drag bikes. Those were pretty impressive. A bit less weight involved tho. But the torque curve is pretty unbeatable.

In comparison, my mother's 1980 Mirada CMX went from 0 to 60 in 21 seconds. Let's use NASCAR gearing with an ATX and a 2 bbl 318.

Buuut you had better look out after it hit 85 mph.... It had the DeLorean beat by 3 mph.
