How's everyone?

Hello all! I haven't been by in a WHILE, mostly out of suggestions from people who say it'll help me be less bitter about not owning a neon any more. Maybe it would have worked, if it weren't for the fact someone on a street I pass DAILY to work/school is selling a beautiful red R/T with a sunroof right on their front lawn. I can't win, I really can't. It doesn't have a price but it really doesn't matter, I'm rather broke

. I have decided, despite it turning my family, friends, and other people who hang around me red in the face, I will and would trade my car in for a neon at a dealership in a heartbeat if the right opportunity presented itself, even though it really runs great. It's just not a neon.

I've come to see how everyone is doing

. I apologize for not stopping by and I plan on lurking around and commenting on everyone's projects and pictures for the next couple of hours I'm at work. I'm still in college and working at the hotel, and still plan on coming to Carlisle again next year, neon or not. Hope everyone is doing well and no one else lost their beautiful car to walking deer bologna (I'm still quite bitter about it)!

Oh, I almost forgot. I have an addition to the family

. Now all I need is a neon, and I'll be set. His name is Perseus, you guys know how I love my mythology names..

I wish it were that easy haha. I'm watching the dealerships.. if I can find one in good shape for the right price, I'll trade my car in. It'll be either an R/T or an SRT though more than likely, and they're not that easy to come by around here at dealerships.. and when you do find them, from my experience, they're not in that great of shape.

I drive a 2004 Saturn Ion2 quad coupe right now. It is a very reliable car and gets great fuel economy it's just.. not a neon

I've been meaning to ask you, you mentioned on FB that they make harnesses to take your dragon for walks. How big do these things get anyway?

They can get up to 2 feet in length including the tail.

Yep, he's right, up to two feet. Percy's a little more than half way there, although I don't know if he will make the full 24". Still, he will have a harness >:) I shall walk him! Muahaha

Hey! Good to see you're still doing good!

My Neon's been attacked by two different deer this year! One young and one grown and old. The young one was a couple months ago. Just ran out into the street. Luckily, I was quick on my feet, and hands and braked, yanked the e-brake and cut the wheel lol.

Second one was like, two weeks ago... fucker jumped out of a ditch, took my passenger mirror and two-pieced my rear door! hahaha

all is well though. Get yourself another Neon!! haha

smallblockfreak: He was a bit bigger when I got him, but how old I'm unsure. They aid 16 weeks but I doubt it, I'm sure he was younger.

Midnight_Rider: Haha, I've missed you guys too :) Ahhh, keep your $20, I'll just throw myself farther into debt :D lol. Nah, I'm hoping I can find a dealership with a good R/T or SRT and I'll trade the Ion in.. before Carlisle next year. The SRT I almost got I'm glad I didn't.. they're STILL trying to sell the thing. Hmmm.

dvon17: Holy crap! They're after you too, huh? I think deer are neon haters :lol: glad they didn't total your car though! And yes I know I still want a neon. Right now its even hard to find just an SE for sale, now that's rare...

Take your car to Carmax and let them buy it...go to said front lawn and buy the red r/t. You will get trade in value for your ion or close to it.
