Nope just regular oil. I ran it for maybe 9k miles last year, and now I continually run it and change the oil every 3k. But ya, the first 100k was just regular oil.. Not to mention the total of 13 months that the car sat during my two deployments. I'm not mad about it at all, though! Lol.

I know that comment probably made no sense in the first two sentences... But I'm tired lol. You know what I meant.

I had the same problem about 3 weeks ago...Originally thought it was pressure switch (oil light would ding sometimes) replaced it with valve cover gasket. No more dinging light, but still a oil leak...Ended up being power steering pressure hose. Food for thought if you still have a leak

I do still have that leak, and I replaced the oil pressure sensor and valve cover gasket. I will definitely take a look at the power steering because it was low on fluid a few weeks ago. Which hose did you have problems with? Not sure if I know where the pressure hose is.

trace the hoses from the pump...the one going to the reservoir is your return hose...the one coming out from the bottom of your pump is the pressure....thats where my leak was coming from....back side of motor underneath AC condensor. theres a metal connector to rubber hose in the line.. sounds like your also bro.. Hope this helps

*edit didnt have money to replace my hose had to wait till my next check and 3 days before my check came pump took a dump...jus food for thought

Most likely the high pressure hose on the power steering Andrew, the low pressure hose wouldn't spray all over the place like that

My high pressure hose has seeped from the time I bought it back in 2004. It hasn't gotten any worse, so I haven't bothered to replace it. Just enough to keep the hose a little wet.

I had a leak similar to yours, all along I thought it was the oil pan gasket. But when changing the LCAs, my mechanic found that it was the oil pressure switch. I got the replacement from advance auto parts. So far so good.

I have cuts and scrapes to prove it.

But what if it's my power steering line after all? O:

I did all that for nothing v.v

Mine was relatively easy, because of my car sitting all day... I was able to lean over the motor, and stuck my hands down behind the motor.

And I can't seem to find where the leak is specifically coming from... But it's definitely power steering. I would've never guessed that. It just seems to be everywhere....

I had mine in the air and I got to it from underneath. Had to remove the down-pipe and the power steering cooler though.

you would have had to remove the turbo to get it from the top

Did you narrow down your power steering leak? I too have a similar leak and changing the pressure sensor didn't seem to help... My PS fluid was somewhat low when i checked yesterday... but the thing that puzzles me is, the leaking fluid dosen't seem to be pink in color... (which is the color of the PS fluid since I run atf+3/4 for the PS)
