Found gold at pullapart

Well it's gold to me. Haha I've been looking for a dash forever. I have bought 2 and tried refinishing them with no luck. Finally found one in absolutely perfect condition. I couldn't bring myself to pay full price from a dealer or modern. I got this for 15

This is the only picture I have of my dash. But you can see how terrible it is.

Good find- it looks pristine! Just curious- what year Neon did you pull it from?

i did have to wipe it down tho. no biggy. and It was an 05.

Well, you found a good one then. I worry about the defrost mesh on my dash failing some day. Considering how long it's been since DCX stopped Neon production, I wonder when dealerships will run out of OEM parts and we'll have no choice but to hit the junkyards.

That's exactly what I need to do. I have no more defrost mesh, and it's got a crack from there all the way to the edge of the dash above that little cubbie spot (where the SRT boost gauge sits). It's horrid.

The rest of my interior is in very good condition so this will be great. Now to mount the gauges without messing up.

i dont understand how that gets all messed up on some peoples neons??? never happened to any of my neons

Me either lol. It came like this. I made it worse trying to pull the defrost vent up it just completely broke out.

iirc modern performance sells brand new mopar dash tops.
