Belt squeeling?

hey guise, long time

try not to troll the forums during winter so I dont get the urge to keep upgrading xD

anyways, the srt has been acting up a bit. On a cold start after I let it run for 5 minutes, if I turn on the HIDs, a belt or something starts squeeling. If i turn them back off, it stops. I have to drive the car for a bit before i can turn them on. I'm assuming this is normal since is so fricken cold here?

I usually have to turn them on while driving so that teh belt is rotating at a decent speeeed

my alt belt would squeal every morning too... super annoying. I just bought a new one and replaced it and not a peep since

Thats a little weird... HIDs pullin to much from the alternator or somethin?

yeah its your alt belt. Mine would squeal if i turned on my lights and my blower on high when it was cold outside

i had the same problem when i turn on the heater or rear defrosters hah
