Most Americans have ricer on the brain syndrome. They all think that Jap cars are more reliable than American cars. That is definitely NOT the case when it comes to neons (and most American cars too these days but that's another conversation.) Neons were developed and most were made during the period when Chrysler had a deal with Mitsubishi to cross develop cars, engines, transmissions, etc. reliability was a serious point of development. Also if anyone tells you that you should have bought a ricer you can actually tell them you did just to shut them up.
