I had to make my avatar so small you cant eve see my dang 2gn shirt! any way to get say a 20kb image in instead of 10 max? cmon thats a reasonable request (hint diablo) is there anything u can do to increase that kinda thing? now that im at it, id like to list more mods in the sig can u make that bigger too (i know im askin for a lot lol). yeah yeah i know i gotta deal with it. fine.... *sulks back in chair*

No deal on the avatar size... I already bumped it up from what it comes preset at. For he people on Dial-up loading all the pics takes awhile. The posts per page is already pretty high for them to load I don't wanna throw that even higher. Plus the larger the file size the larger the avatar dimension size gets and I dont' have a truely defined size other than thats in the profile settings (I think 100x100)... stuff larger than that tends to make the forum lood odd. Your pic is only 65x49... bump up the size more and decrease the quality some... plus you're only at 1.49 KB... you still have plenty of room to play with.

As far size of sigs... visiting other forums I find it better to keep that down also so people dont' list EVERY mod they have so it doesn't pop up every time you post and have your sign larger than your actual post. So no deal on that either.

i suck at doing photo stuff i cant get it to stay bigger w/o getting blurry. it said 9.75KB, then i had to make it a JPG and it was only 1.5 KB. wtf im puzzled lol.

Thank you, that is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to sigs. Not only is it annoying to have sigs that are longer then posts but it just looks plain stupid.

kinda on topic but diablo you know if theres a mod for phpbb to limit sig once per page? i know srtforums has something like that. it only shows a user sig once per page, rather then every post.

I kinda' like having them every post. It helps identify who the post is from rather than hunting for the text on the left. We don't have outrageously sized sig images like the SRTforums and the other .org and it's not like it requires any more download time - Once the sig image is loaded, it's in your cache.

Yeah, it is quite large... But maybe Diablo can just set a size for standard signatures... Or just tell people to tone down their massive signatures.

Yeah I know... I've seen it. I didn't want to put it in since I notice peoples sigs faster than I do their name so I can tell who's posted just based off their sig than having to look at the username each time I read a post. It's just faster for me... I dunno about your other guys but I'm just basing it off my own view.

so thats why its like that over there, i never knew why

but I agree, I like seeing most everyones sig...helps me know who said what w/out looking to the left all the time
