Buying an SRT, anything I should look for???

Hey guys, I'm buying an 04 yellow srt4 with 46k for $8,700

Has minor mods buts its pretty much stock. The interior and exterior are 10/10. Is there a way to maybe check to see if the car was modded and then turn to stock for sale. Or maybe a different cluster to lie on the mileage? any advice or tips, buying my first car out a dealer.

Car fax will tell you if it's been wrecked and if mileage has been tampered with besides that check for popping out of 3rd gear. I'm sure other will chime in but it looks to be super clean

Do you think the price is fair? The srts at the dealers go for 12,000-14,000 with over 70k. This is the closest I have found to stock

Does it have a rebuilt title because for that price and its at a dealer there's no way that's a clean title man. Ask for the carfax because something seems fishy unless they just don't care to make money on that sale. Srt usually go for more than 10k at any dealer.

Imo!! The car looks great in the pics and yes the price sounds good to me. I paid 7500 for my 04 stock srt4 with 80k and 4500 for my 05 modded srt4 with 160k. I would try talking them down to 8k just bc I'm cheap though

As long as its a clean title and shifts properly i'd say that's an excellent price. Looks to just have minor mopar bolt ons. (Exhaust, cai). Low mileage, yellow 04, can't really go wrong there

the car does have a clean title according to him but I will check the carfax. The original price he had it for was 10k but we agreed for 8,700.

I though only 05 brought LSD?

It's a private seller. I was just comparing the price to those from dealers which here are between 10-12 even 14,000

No different than your current neon

quarters, rear wheel wells, k frame etc. looks clean though. Prob garaged.
