Stolen turbo 1g project car in Pocono Mountains, Pa

Fellow Neon enthusiasts, I discovered my turbo sohc project car was stolen from a property that I own in Long Pond, Pa off of Kuhenbeaker Road (near state route 115). The car was not driven, someone trespassed onto my property and towed it away.

I'm devastated man, this car was a project that my friend and I were working on since 2005. He died in early 2011 and it was then that i decided to finish our project by swapping everything over to my R/T. Now, that will never happen.

Notable parts:
SOHC engine with eagle rods, JE pistons. Timing cover cut out to expose blue 3 bolt AEM cam gear. Engine does not have a crank pulley
Intercooler with front textured bumper cover cut out
Hahn manifold and 16G turbo, both ceramic coated (but rusty)
Misc. intercooler piping, aluminum, polished
Morosso oil pan, covered in sealant, does NOT have the internal baffle (don't asK)
DDS axles & hubs
Mopar PCM with the label still on it
3" Chill Factory downpipe, 3" exhaust, no cat, no muffler
Blue painted front calipers
14" R/T alloys with Kumho Ecsta tires (dry rotted).
2004 Inspection and Emissions sticker
Cartech/BEGI Rising Rate Fuel Pressure regulator (RRFPR) and Aeromotive 1:1 FPR
Crane Valve springs
02 or 03 R/T camshaft
One of the first Maddog shifters ever made

I'll be peeping Craigslist and eBay but nothing has turned up. Please keep your eyes open for me?

I believe this car was stolen by car scrappers from the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre areas. If anyone has information, please contact me on here.

I hope you have contacted the police with a vin number so they can alert salvage yards if it comes up... most salvage yards require a title...

Ya rly, who would go out of their way to tow away a 1st gen Neon unless they knew it had special work done to it?

Start by looking at who knew of the car. Prime suspects.

Did you owe money on it? Maybe repo men? Repo men should be shot on sight.

Here's the last pic I took of the car. debadged, full 3" exhaust, catless and mufflerless. just 1 resonator after the downpipe

No new details, the car is pretty much gone. I've already began collecting more parts for another turbo build.

I owed no money on the car. I bought it outright back in 2004. I have my suspicions on who did it, but I have no proof so I'll bite my tongue.

I don't expect to get the car or the parts back... already began acquiring stuff for a new build:

EDZ 2.4L with SRT-4 rods/pistons/rings (it will be torn apart, acid bathed, rotating assembly will be balanced, SRT-4 oil system and timing components)
2.0/2.4 dohc head with crane springs
Hahn 20g turbo kit with FMIC.

Now I have to figure out what I want to do with the fuel system.

Hey man sorry to hear about this I saw this in the record. I'm from the Pocono's myself tobyhanna area. I've been keeping my eye out for this car also around my way. I was really saddened when I read the story in the record. If there's anything I can do to help (places around me to look??) I will gladly help.

I highly doubt that the car is still in the Poconos. I have reason to believe that the car was towed away to the Dunmore, Pa area and that's about all i can really say at this time.

PS: I used to live in Tobyhanna myself, had 3 places. The trailer park off of 611 (back in 1998), off of Main St. near the courthouse (1997) and APCP (1999-2000). I no longer live in Monroe County but I do work in East Stroudsburg part time.
