any luck with safc2 on ngc

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

any luck with safc2 on ngc

Post by UMKCNeon04 » Sun Feb 05, 2006 5:25 pm

hey. now that tax returns are coming i was thinking about getting an safc2 to help pull out a lil fuel since i think we all know how rich our cars tend to run for economy and safety reasons. i have heard rumors ofa few people running safc2 on ngc but i dont know what the results were. does it actually work or does the computer still tune everything back to normal. i have very lil knowledge of how exactly the safc works in open or closed loop or whatever so any help would be nice. or instead of spending about 250-300 on a safc2 should i just spend a lil more and get msnedis and have complete control?

know this topic kinda died but anyone got any info on this. i think im gonna get a comp400 and a cam gear and id like to have an safc2 to pull a lil fuel out. i want an idea though that it will work and not be affected by the ngc once i install it. any help is appreciated.

any more info? and ill bite, why would a crane 14 be better than the 400? ive heard there near the same but i know there are a few differences. biggest reason i said 400 is because its easier to get off the forums for decent price than the 14.
