So ... can you tell my mood ?

Ok ... so Saturday my car was "side swiped" in a "parking lot" ... I will post pictures later when I am on my computer

Insurance came yesterday and I am waiting for the appraisal ... but he said he thinks it might be totalled ... UGH ... are you kidding me ...

Waiting for the verdict so I can decide what to do ... so freakin frustrated ...

$4439 damage. They are paying to fix it so minus a $500 deductable and the check will be $3939 ... here are just a few shots of the worst part ... the passenger side. They are paying to fix and paint everything except the hood, roof, and trunk ... so I am doing that on my own ... the car will have a complete paint job and everything will be fixed when I am done ... then not sure what I will do with it ... maybe sell it.

When I was in high school some kid tried to "drfit" his minivan in a parking lot. He ended up hitting a light pole and it looked an awful lot like that... not saying that happened

All I have to say is that sucks man but couldn't you sell it as is and walk away with a decent amount of money? You have to figure all the money you are going to put into painting it will add up never mind the time it will take.

Good luck in whatever direction you decide to take

OK ... the quotes are because I am assuming that's what happened.

The check should be to the shop I work at sometime this week. I already bought a new front door handle and a used black rear door. Next is to fix the rust and dents ... fix the bumpers ... put on the fiberglass fenders ... buy a couple stripe kits and paint the whole thing over.

Maybe get some coilovers too ...
