neon r/t leaking oil
s 2k a good price for a 2002 neon r/t with 125K miles and no record of timing belt being replaced? ... a/c not working and maybe subwoofer to go along in the deal?
Do all r/t come with disck rear brakes?
How much or how hard would it be to find leather seats at a junkyark... how much can i expect to pay to convert normal seats to the leather option?
Thanks,

As far as I know, yes.v793jt0 wrote:Do all r/t come with disck rear brakes?
Domestically hard to come by as few Neons here had the leather interior option.v793jt0 wrote:How much or how hard would it be to find leather seats at a junkyark

its a painted srt Carbon Fiber hood, generally you'll spend 350-450 on a new one depending on brand.

if you are mechanically inclined the timing belt, and water pump job is not that hard.

neon r/t leaking oil
So everytime i feel like i should have gotten a better price for this car
So i came to find as jacking the car up .. that the oil pan seemed like it had oil along the end where oil plug is in direction of tire to tire...
i removed the crackshaft pulley bolt and realized a bit of oil came out.. the oil is still on between min and max level... but i wonder what this may be? do you all think it may just be a bad crankshaft seal?
which would not be too bad i guess since im in the process of changing timing components...
also realized the pads are 96 percent ish worn
and the front sway bar is missing... wonder what else i will find wrong.. i feel robbed

^what gramps said
anyways best thing to do is take some simple green or engine degreaser and wash down the engine really well to get all the residual oil off. then drive the car for a day and you'll be able to better locate the source of the leak. take pictures and post them if it helps
