You have to drill holes for it? Im guessing this is for 00-02 only though?

Well wait... do you want where to drill the holes or where to cut the core support b/c the holes are easy, hold the FMIC up and mark then drill. It's the core support thats that hardest but even thats not very hard.

There aren't any 3" holes rather just cutting away some of the core support, like notching it out.

The ECU since it's an SRT-4 swap I used the bracket off the SRT and it mounts in the stock location and the piping runs through the bracket under the ECU. I'd say go ahead and try to use that bracket but the '03+ PCMs changed so the plugs are on the wide of the PCM rather than ontop like 00-02... so I doubt you'll be able to use it. Instead you'll have to find your own way to mount it... may wanna talk to Novajoe, Kevin_GP, grindpunk16... ect... they'll be able to give you some ideas on that.
Kevin_GP wrote:SRT-4 intercooler- This does not fit without ALOT of cutting. You need to cut 2 huge holes in the radiator support. You also need to move/bend some AC lines for the passenger side end tank to fit though. You need to move the ECU on the driverside and fab up a new mounting location. In order for it to fit correctly, you need to cut out the back of your stock front fasica. Im not sure about this step but i needed to on my 01-02 ACR fasica. The srt-4 intercooler is a good choice because its cheap, thats it. You are setting yourself up for problems down the road with intercooler piping. I will explain further...

Reciprocating saw and die grinder with a cutoff wheel. Then I dressed it up with a Dremel and file to remove the burrs. Then sprayed it with some paint to prevent any corrosion.

^^^yeh i used a reciprocating saw as well. just went out and started cutting stuff. thas how i like to get stuff done. if it dont come off, i cut that bitch off hahaha but yeh i used the reciprocating saw to get it cut down as much as piossible. then just started banging the hell out of it with a hammer to flatten it in some more when it was too small to cut with the saw.

You used a ECU from an SRT4 for your swap? Maybe I read it wrong... or was it just an ECU bracket?

heh, that kinda reminds me of a quote from Star Wars: "He's more machine now, than man. Twisted and evil."

That is a cool ride.
