SRT-4's are as prevailant as riced-out Honda's in my neck of the 100 acre wood. They have a weekly meet at the local stripmall. One of the first guys I met from SRT-4mation tried to run me in his stock -4 from a roll. Unluckily for him I just finished having a Teggy for a snack for the nitrous was purged, the tank warmed(and still full) and ready to go. He went WOT, just as I went WOT and walked him (he tried to go in 4th gear). Finally met up with the guy several months later, and sometime this spring I'm helping him install his nitrous system. Most -4 owners are cool. Several have stopped by my house to checkout my car thinking it is a -4.

THis is Exatly it ^^, Mostly true for SRT-4 owners who haven't had a neon before it. I dont blame the car, I just blame the -What now has become the Stereotype of most Srt-4 "Kid owners".

I'm out In Chicago area and I think there are more SRT-4's around here then anywhere.
The srt club out here used to be great when it started. But Like any Club that is very active and Grows big, you get mixed attitudes. Don't get me wrong they are good Club and do have some good members. But...

Either way, It doesnt bother me, just thought this thread was interesting.

I come from car clubs that welcome ANYONE AT ANYTIME.
I also respect everyone and anything they drive or are into, until I have reason not to.

But who knows I'm just a guy who drives a neon with different stickers and wheels on it

Main reason we kept our group back home very small and very local. People would ask about joining, but it wasnt something we were interested in.

It was more of a Kilq than a Club.

I moved to Florida and it fell apart. The only thing that is left from those days is a couple business cards and a sticker on my friends car back home.

I stopped caring about how fast or how cool my car looks a long time ago. So I couldn't give a shit what some turbo srt-4 thinks.

i just hate b/c about 75% of srt4 owners are the people who used to talk shit about neons b4 srt's came out...like neons they are ugly and slow who would ever buy one of those piece of shits....and as soon as srt's come out we got all kinds of neon haters buying them....that's why most of them claim..."it's not a neon it's a srt-4"
