you guys are in a world of your own. every srt i see revs at me or races by as loud as possible. theres about 20 in my town and i see them regularly. keep in mind there are a LOT more people and a LOT more car people in my area than out in the boons where some of u live. Cali is where most of the scene is at, and everyone here means business.

Easily half of the SRTs here (probably 8-10 total) are driven by girls who dont do anything but put their custom license plates that say "SRT4LEE" or some shit like that on and drive from point A to point B. Only three are known to race, and one of them is blown up, the other one belongs to a guy who put purple flames and an aluminum spoiler on it who cant shift for shit, and one of them belongs to my friends cousin who knows what the car is, knows how to drive it, and isnt afraid to strech its legs.

Theyre decently quick, but theyre not 'race cars'..... since when did race cars have power windows? lol

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha are you serious? you cant be serious? you are that oblivious to the rest of the world? California has a ton of people I know, but its also a very tall state so the population is very spread out. I live in the home of the Big 3. We have a fuckton of people here. To say that dblsg's area is the boons is even more ignorant. Go look up the Chicagoland area and see its population.

Remember: Remove head from ass then post

Here are some stats for you to look at:
Bay Area Population = 6,710,380 according to an estimate based on the 2000 Cencus found here http://www.bayareacensus.ca.gov/bayarea.htm
State of Michigan population = 9,938,444 according to http://www.50states.com/michigan.htm
Population estimates for 2003 place the Chicagoland population at approximately
9,650,000 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicagoland

So do some research before you make ignorant statements

And wow for 90% of this thread I have been nice to you, but your cocky fucking attitude has made me be the stereotypical SRT driver. So yeah my car does own yours in everyway, but that doesnt make me better than you. We both drive Neons, are the same age, and I am just a lot smarter than you so go ahead and drive your fart cannoned Neon and be proud, but for chrst sake, grow up!

Hahahaha, I read your other post abotu SRT guys not being Neon guys first. I had an 04 R/T and I loved it and thats what finally swayed me to get an SRT-4. So no, I am not a typical SRT "dude." If I was a typical SRT dude, why would I be on 2GN? It's for Neons right? So, if I am "SRT dude" then I would be proclaiming that my car is not a Neon!!!!! But, it is very much a Neon and so thats why two forums I check daily are here and Detroit Neon Owners. See I own a Neon. I own the top performance Neon, but it is still VERY much a Neon and I'm proud of that. Neons are great cars, but dont tell me that if you had the chance to get an SRT-4 you wouldn't go for it.

By the way nice edit to make it seem all cool.

I noticed that a lot of SRT-4 owners just dont want to talk to the neon guys. They think they dont have a neon or something! :D Unless you got something impressive under the hood, they just dont give a damn about the neon community.

i said a LOT of srt owners arent neon guys first. thats true go check the stats (haha). 2gn is for srt AND neon owners. all second gens. check the homepage. i bet theres plenty of guys on here whos first neon was an srt. and if i had the chance to get one i would have no doubt, but im proud of whatever car i have. Im not rich so i make the best of what i have and appreciate it. The whole point of this thread was to show that I feel like the srt guys in my area are a bunch of jerks. thats it-

But you see thats where your thinking is fucked because the SRT is a Neon. so 2GN is for 2G Neons, and the SRT fits in that catergory without saying "and SRT-4s." "SRT Dude" claims his car is NOT a Neon and thus would not want to associate himself with a bunch of Neon owners

Uh, orangeblast, you ever been to Chicago? or Detroit? They are huge towns. I've done alot of field work back east and I hate to say it bro but just one little Chicago suburb is bigger than Vacaville. As dense as the population is in the SF bay area, The tri-sate areas of NY, Detroit and Chicago metro areas all got us beat buddy. When's the last time you saw a highrise anywhere in the North bay? Shit, Dallas, Texas makes SF look tiny.

Oh, and the car scene in NOR-CAL has been dead since 95 or 96. There's nothin' goin' on like there used to be. I could find a cruise in any city in teh bay area back then. (and an industrial park race to go withit) Go out now and its nothin' but kids in their mommy and daddy's Grand Prixs rollin the shopping malls. (Hey, lets get back to that West Coast get together! Infineon Raceway is a stone's throw from you.)

*Let's not forget guys, that Dodge marketed the SRT-4 as the NEON SRT-4 during its initial release. The concept vehicle was a dressed up Neon (even shared headlamps until front faschia changed after official release) with an Eaton Supercharger under the hood making around 208 HP at 11lbs. of boost. Tom Gale was cool.

You are right sullygully. Its actually really sad how bad the real-estate situation has gotten in the SF bay area. Developers fucking raped the countryside during the .com bubble and the old neighborhoods look like third world countries from all of the imports that came here for jobs.
In San Jose, where I used to live, they were literlally paving over their lawns and making parking lots out of them. My old house is a fucking shithole now. Sucks.
DannyBoy can vouch for it. (Danny = Silvercreek Country Club = What a f-ing joke, that area used to be nothing but green hills and oak trees, now its little Vietnam)

srt4s are neons too. just faster ones from the factory...accept it. with every factory quick car there will be a few assheads behind it that think they are teh shit. doesnt mean all are...know this. not ever srt4 owner is out there to piss other neon people off or make them feel uncomfortable as you put it. they know it is a neon....and why would you feel uncomfortable anyways when you are at a light next to an srt4? you really shouldnt be worrying about wat is next to you at a light..it's not like the road is a drag strip and you have to race everything on it..and if you like your car so much why should it even matter? this thread is pointless it should be in off topic...
