It's not a fact unless it's true so you didn't post a 'fact' ;-) Do I need to get my dictonary out again?

Today I saw an SRT at the gas station, and laughed, and kinda revved when I was leaving. Sure, my car might not be as fast, but I loved getting 35 MPG at 85MPH all day today. I paid 14,500 after taxes for my neon (no money down). As it is for my 1986 Dodge one ton van, and my 2005 SXT I'm paying....130...maybe 150 a month for insurance (Sure, I drive my van everyday and let my neon sit).

BTW: Is there a way 2gn could add a quick link to dictionary.com above each post box?

Last time I took a trip in my SRT, I got 32 MPG and I was doing 85 and then some.

I pay $122/month for full coverage on a 2005 SXT, 2004 SRT-4, and liability on a 1997 Neon.

BTW, I got my wifes 2005 SXT for $10,995, no money down. :D

Just for comparison.

What's with all the SRT bashing on this site???

How did you get talked out of an SRT? I see that soooo many times. the "Went to get and SRT and walked out with an SXT." Did the salesman talk you out of it because I'm sure he would get more money selling you a more expensive car

I'm not really bashing, and I'm also paying so much for insurance compared to you since you're almost double my age  . I didn't do bad on my neon since it was the first car I had ever bought, I got my van in November. I hope you didn't take everything I said personally, I didn't mean to attack anybody.

it helps that hes 37 years old. my parents pay rediculously low (compared to me) amounts of money for insurance.

i think all of their cars, 05 ram, 04 ion, 00 stratus, all well less than my 04 neon. and i only have one point that never got counted by the insurance company. my rate actually went down a couple hundred a year after that one point.

i could care a less about these SRT guys. Most of them think that they are tuff shit around here. even my friend who own an SRT doesnt really talk with the other SRT guys because he thinks that they act like idiots. i really dont care cause i see hundreds of SRT's around chicago and i never see any 01 R/Ts (which is what i have). plus any idiot can fork over 20,000 to have a fast car but how many of them can handle/drive it.
