Fiberglass Fenders

Post by thy_2003sxt4 » Sun Nov 10, 2013 1:57 pm

I bought a pair of Vfiber fenders awhile back, and was wondering if this is how kt should look. I know it'll need prepwork, but why is the upper tab that connects to the enginebay facing up? You cant even connect it or line it up to drill holes. Is there a way to fix this or rig it up to work? I was not able to look at the box when it was delivered since i was at work.

Send them back. Chances of getting that right are slim without breaking it

Agreed.

Hopefully, "A while back" isn't past any time limits for returning things.

Yeah it was awhile back. I wish i was there to sign for it. Wonder if i could cut it and reapply it with fiberglass paste to make it work.

Lol, not sure. They went through putting the mesh in and picking them out for delivery. Should have just got carbonfiber ones. :banghead:

Buddy of mine that has these with the same problem. Seems the company that made them had no clue that they need to be flat since its the mounting point. It's steel z3s or nothing IMO

His aren't straight up but they curl up, he was able to roll them enough to get the bolts through. Fitment is still crap

Did his look like mine or were they minor? How did he manage to roll them without cracking?
