Ad states that vehicle has side airbags but photos show Viper seats. That's fishy. Also- why no pics of the driver's side rear? The bumper shows damage on that side. Hopefully I'm nit-picking. Go check it out!

Salesmen are rarely the brightest folks when it comes to options.

The ad's title is proof enough of that.

Also things may not be original anymore, so a build sheet, and knowing what's there and what isn't certainly helps in kicking their asking price in the balls.

You can email the VIN to customerassist@chrysler.com and ask for a build sheet. It takes less than two days to get an answer, but may be worthwhile. No sense in paying their inflated price on options that may no longer be there.

If they won't give you the VIN over the phone, then drive by and get it.

But personally if they won't give it over the phone, that is a red flag. Just tell them you need it for an insurance quote from your agent. ;)

Well, the 2.0 is definitely incorrect but calling a Canadian SRT-4 an SX is kind of appropriate since it is a Neon here (without being called that). Confusing, I know- thanks DCX.

The 2.0 was basically what I was pointing out. But sales people generally don't have a clue about what they are selling, especially a used car lot. I have even had issues with new car salespeople not knowing jack about what they're pushing.

The idiot that took the order for my Jeep Cherokee XJ tried to tell me if I got anti lock brakes, it would be 4 wheel disc. They would have installed them too, before I accepted it. But lucky for him, I wanted nothing to do with anti lock brakes.

4 wheel discs were never available in any form on the 1999 XJ's
